Beautiful Spirit
Once upon a time,
You
Were a water sprite.
 
The harmony song
Of the waves
Gently rolled
As they played
Your tune.
 
And you danced,
With such grace
That it captivated
And mystified.
 
The breeze,
As it lapped the waves,
Applauded your
Every movement.
 
And the Sea...
She still calls you,
She still haunts you,
She still missess you,
Wishes you
Were home.
 
And I can hear
The echoes
Of days long ago
When you and I....
 
Well, I knew it then
As I know it now.
 
Gentle Spirit.
Sweet, kind
Beautiful Soul.
You
Were once
