It's All Good
a poem by thenorm
The rain hangs
Thick
In the air
As the morning
Sun
Slowly breaks
Across the sky.
The winter wind
Sticks
to me
As I find my way
Thru
The Truth
And the Lies.
Where are the words
That haunt me,
That want me,
Urge me on?
Where is the laughter
That I hear,
Playing in my ear?
I trudge on,
Forge thru,
Filter past
The past.
For evey sunset
I have seen,
The sun
Has risen again
And helped me
Find my friend.
For evey raindrop
Falls,
I have heard
The Call.
I walk on,
Head held high.
At last, I feel
I can really sigh.
I stare out
Upon the glittering
Sea.
It's all good
Or
At least it will be.
