The embers

of Forever

Touch my skin,

Delighting me,

Exciting me.

Another day

is Another dream.

And the world

Is not

as it

Would seem.

For one moment,

It was hypnotizing

Even tantalizing.

I reach for shadows,

Perhaps the stars.

In my grasp

And yet too far.

But for one moment,

One space in time -

It was hypnotizing.

Tantalizing.

And the embers of

Forever that burn

Burn on.
