The Dance
a poem by thenorm
The music plays and I smile,
For I know
You shall dance
With me.
I am captivated by your eyes,
The way they sparkle
And dance.
I feel your arms around me,
Holding me,
Pulling me closer,
Closer,
And closer yet again.
Yet not nearly close enough.
And I feel the sway of your hips,
You press against me.
You press against me
And I am lost
In your heavenly touch.
I smell you,
And I am overcome
With love,
With passion,
With desire,
With hunger.
And the music plays
And I hold you close
And pull you
Into me.
